Juvederm, RHA Collection, Belotero are three brands of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers we offer at Exclusively Radiant MedSpa. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally throughout the body. As we age, we lose volume in our skin. This loss of volume leads to either a sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and add volume to the face and lips.
The JUVÉDERM® collection of gel dermal fillers is used to soften deep folds and soften wrinkles in the face. Exclusively Radiant MedSpa offers he full line of JUVÉDERM® injectable treatments: Juvederm Volbella, Juvederm Vollure, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus and Juvederm Voluma.
Juvederm Ultra XC is used to volumize lips, treat lines and folds that are mild to moderately deep, whereas Juvederm Ultra Plus is for deeper lines and folds. It has to do with the particle size of the product and your desired outcomes. These are clinically shown to last up to one year.
Lift and contour cheeks with JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, which adds volume to correct age-related volume loss in the cheeks to help create a more youthful appearance. This is the first FDA-approved filler to correct age-related volume loss in the midface. It is clinically shown to last up to 2 years.
JUVÉDERM® Volbella XC is indicated for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines in adults over the age of 21. This is for soft, subtle enhancement of the lips, not for large volume. It is clinically shown to last up to 12 months.
Juvederm Vollure XC is injected into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial folds (such as nasolabial folds) in adults over 21. Compared to traditional Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus, it is a bit softer and more flexible giving a more natural correction with and without facial expression. It is also clinically proven to last up to 18 months.
While relatively new to the United States, RHA fillers have been safely used in Europe since 2015. The fillers of the RHA Collection are the first hyaluronic acid fillers to be FDA-approved for the treatment of facial wrinkles and folds.
Dynamic wrinkles and folds appear in areas of the face which move repetitively. RHA® is designed to be resilient enough to adapt to your facial movement. RHA® uses a gentle manufacturing process with few chemical modifications. This helps preserve the natural structure of the (hyaluronic acid) HA, allowing it to mimic the natural HA found in your skin.
RHA® 2 and RHA® 3 are indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for the correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (NLF), in adults aged 22 years or older.
RHA® 4 is indicated for injection into the deep dermis to superficial subcutaneous tissue for the correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (NLF), in adults aged 22 years or older. All of RHA products have been clinically shown to lasts up to 15 months.
There are some side effects to receiving dermal fillers, which include immediate pain in the injection area as well as swelling and bruising. Most side effects are mild and will subside after seven days. Redness may also occur at the injection site and your skin may feel firmer than usual. We typically do not recommend dermal fillers if you have to make any events in 2 weeks or less.
