BOTOX®, Dysport® Jeuveau are all neurotoxins derived from botulinum toxin A, and they work in very similar ways. Jeuveau has the quickest onset of about 3-5 days because if its Hi-Pure manufacturing process, Dysport comes in next with an onset of about 5-7 days, and Botox has an onset of 7-14 days. All neurotoxins generally last 12 weeks depending on the client and several factors including the clients metabolism rate.
These drugs work by blocking specific nerves in the face that are in control of muscle movement. When these products are injected, the muscles become slightly weakened. The result is less distinct wrinkles as well as the prevention of wrinkles from deepening further.

Side effects for these injectable treatments are usually minor, and patients can return to their normal routines right away. You may experience pain at the injection site or minor swelling, bruising, and headache. However, the side effects are temporary and will subside as healing progresses. Common side effects during the first 2 weeks are puffy eyelids, heavy feeling of eyes when the forehead is treated, these typically resolve on their own after the 2 week period.
